Howdy! It’s hard not to use that greeting when surrounded by the gorgeous Texas countryside and, of course, BLUEBONNETS! We got a super early start to shoot this session with Dru and Jerod. Love the colors of the fog and the early morning sky. Such a fun morning for C. Baron! Plus, we got to hang out in Washington County – lots of interesting things to do in Brenham (Blue Bell Ice Cream anyone?) and Chappell Hill – cute main street and the heart of Bluebonnet country in Washington County.
I hope Dru and Jerod are enjoying their new life overseas! Enjoy the flowers!
Such a gorgeous morning! And a gorgeous couple

Brrrrr! It’s actually almost like winter out there! Crazy Houston weather! Reminded me of a wonderful fall wedding that C. Baron photographed – cooler temps and pretty seasonal sky! The ceremony was in the small chapel at Second Baptist Church and the reception was held at Willow Fork Country Club in Katy. Cassie and Daniel are such a fun couple And don’t you just love the fall colors of her bouquet? Enjoy.
We just love the “First Look” – such a special moment to share with our couples!

Here it is, another rainy day in Houston. This reminds me of a rainy weekend back in November when we were honored to shoot Belinda and Elías’ wedding at the Bell Tower on 34th.
Belinda originally planned to have her ceremony at the waterwall (for those that don’t know, the waterwall is the outdoor courtyard at Bell Tower). That day it was misty and raining, much like today. Even though the ceremony moved inside, it was still a spectacular event. Our beautiful bride, Belinda, had an enchanted forest-themed wedding, complete with tree shadows on the wall and a super cute fairy walking down the aisle. Her bridesmaids didn’t carry just any bouquet – they were fantastic grapevine topiary creations, full of gorgeous florals and lights (yes, I said lights!). They were created by our good friend, Bill Ryan, of Floral Events. This was our first time working with Bill and we were blown away by his incredible work.
Their engagement session was a lot of fun, too – at least it wasn’t raining! We kind of worked on the enchanted forest theme then, too. Check out that session HERE
The combination of florals, beautiful decor, and of course, our gorgeous bride, Belinda, was a sight to see. It was so much fun for C. Baron to photograph this wedding. Enjoy!
P.S. – Check out the lifesize banner of our bride at Bell Tower next time you visit – it, along with several other C. Baron pieces are on display in their offices!
A break in the rain allowed for this gorgeous shot at the Water Wall

Another Friday! Is everyone ready for the weekend? C. Baron is – another busy weekend for us as usual!
Back in December, we were fortunate enough to do a bridal shoot at Chateau Polonez - definitely check it out – it’s a gorgeous venue in Cypress (NW Houston area) and would make a great spot for a wedding. If you’re wanting more information, please give Kasia a call. She is fantastic and a joy to work with!
Anyhoo – have you noticed the style trend of the 20′s, 30′s and 40′s? The movie “Gangster Squad” was released to theaters today – has a real 40′s film noir look. One of the blockbusters of summer will be a remake of “The Great Gatsby” – set in the 1920′s, this film is already inspiring fashion looks for spring.
Our bride Rebecca was already rockin’ an adorable swingin’ bob – her satin Winnie Couture gown has modern lines and a structure reminiscent of the 20′s and 30′s – she was the perfect candidate for this shoot!
Lisa Pelayo (LP Makeup and Beauty) did her fabulous makeup and Gabby Alegria did her gorgeous hair for the shoot. It is just a total transformation!
Everyone have a great weekend – Enjoy the images!
Is Rebecca gorgeous or what?!?!?!?!?!

HOWDY Ags! I know we have lots of Aggie fans – are you ready for the Cotton Bowl and Johnny Football on Friday night? I still can’t believe we have a Heisman winner, and a freshman at that! Gig’em!
And since there are so many Aggies amongst us, (I can’t tell you how many times C. Baron has done the Aggie War Hymn at a wedding - there aren’t enough fingers and toes between us all), I thought it would be fun to share some of the engagement sessions we’ve done in Aggieland over the last year. We’ve hit all the high spots from the Dixie Chicken, to the Aggie Barn, to various important campus landmarks, like Sully, the Academic Building and even Kyle Field. I have to say, it was pretty awesome to hold the keys to such hallowed grounds.
Lots of traditions, lots of memories and lots of romances start at Texas A&M and colleges across the country. I count ourselves lucky in this New Year to have met so many great couples over the last year, from A&M and beyond. As we gear up for 2013, we look forward to meeting even more! And hopefully, we’ll have some return trips to Aggieland!
As far as the Cotton Bowl – BTHO OU! WHOOP!
Our Aggie couples like to show their true colors! WHOOP!

Well another year has gone by and a new year is almost upon us. What better way to ring in the New Year than by getting married - that’s what Hailey and Miguel are doing in Galveston on New Year’s Eve. But before their big day, C. Baron Photography was able to get some fabulous engagement photos of the couple at the Galveston Railroad Museum, which is located at the head of the Historic Strand. Since Hailey and Miguel got engaged in Galveston, it only seemed right to shoot their e-session there. We did some beautiful bridals with Hailey, too. Stay tuned since we can’t share them with you just yet! So for now, just enjoy this gorgeous couple’s engagement images. We are so looking forward to a great time on New Year’s Eve! :)
Resting up for the big day!
