Has it really been so long since I last blogged a wedding?!?!?! C. Baron Photography has been just crazy busy the last few months – lots of weddings, portrait sessions, etc. It’s hard to keep the blog current when all I really want to do is work on the next set of gorgeous images. Fortunately, we’re having a nice rainy afternoon (no sessions today!), so it gives me a little time to just daydream for a change!
We’ve been loving the mild winter this year and the rain has been nice after the scorcher we had last summer. But with rains (in SE Texas, anyway) come lots and lots of mosquitoes! We had some weddings back in October that fell exactly 2-3 weeks after one of the first rains we had experienced in a while – this created a mosquito monsoon! Which reminded me of Tiffany and Robby’s wedding…….
Tiffany is an Aggie (WHOOP!) setting her sights on Vet school – she has a love of horses and the outdoors, so it stands to reason she would have an outdoor engagement session (see those images HERE) and of course, an outdoor wedding! It was at Oakwind Bed & Breakfast in Alvin – gorgeous location with wonderful country touches all around. Her love of horses showed up on her cute cake and even her ring. Anyway, after a beautiful sunset ceremony, the mosquitoes did swarm for a while, making it a little difficult for her guests to stand still for portraits. In some of the images, it seems as if her guests are doing some sort of crazy new dance! LOL.
Fortunately, though, that didn’t last long! Once the sun fully set, the mosquitoes went away and the party was on. Beautiful bride, gorgeous venue, sunset light….what else is there to say?!?!?! Enjoy the images. Lisa
