You have seen Fixer Uppers, right? If you haven’t you definitely should! My husband and I working on fixing up our house, but without Chip and Joanna Gaines…..if you are picturing a circus, you are have a pretty good visual of how the process is going. We have been choosing light fixtures and door knobs, but my husband just doesn’t seem to understand that it is all about the details. Boys just don’t understand. However, our bride, Dana definitely understands, because this girl thought of every detail imaginable for her wedding! You remember Dana and David, right? They had the adorable engagement session at the airport!
Dana and David had their wedding at Pecan Springs, which was perfect for all of Dana’s DIY details! They were so cute! Everything was so shabby chic and 100% personalized! My favorite detail was Dana’s silk shoes – just check those babies out! An artist drew all of the significant details and little pieces of her and David’s love story on to them! They featured a puppy, special dates and words like “High School Sweethearts.” Dana planned everything so meticulously that you know she had something special in mind for their First Look. Colorful balloons are so happy and fit their bubbly personalities so well! One of my favorite moments of the day was just before Dana walked down the aisle. Two of their furbabies were involved in the ceremony and Mama Dana had to stop and remind their one of them to be on his best behavior. Such a sweet image that will speak to any dog lover’s heart! They had an intimate personalized ceremony and both dogs behaved exceptionally well during the ceremony. However, the minute the ceremony ended, in typical lab fashion, their chocolate lab decided it was time to take a swim! Definitely made for a good laugh!
Dana and David treated their guests to several fun and delicious surprises throughout the night! Dana chose delectable cupcakes for their guests, but she still had a cake for the two of them to enjoy on their one year anniversary. It was topped with some of the most adorable cake toppers. It featured a little Dana and David, but also all five of their puppies! I absolutely loved it! When their friends and family needed to cool down from all the dancing, there was a Kona Ice Truck outside! It was such a hit, especially since it was so warm outside! It was such a fun night! We are wishing Dana, David and their furbabies the very best this life has to offer!
