As you may have noticed, I have a strong affinity for anything with a history. Vintage furniture is no exception. You never know whose house it may have been in or the family heirlooms that it once held. Unfortunately, some of the wood finishes on these pieces are just no longer in style. Yet, with a face lift (aka a little paint) these beauties have life breathed into them again! One such piece was at Brittany and Kipp’s wedding. It was a beautiful piece painted white and was holding their very delicious candy buffet! All of their guests were having fun taking goodie bags of candy home, but I couldn’t help but wonder if I were the only one wanting to take the buffet itself home!
Every Bride wants their wedding to reflect the Groom and herself. Brittany went the extra mile and designed centerpieces symbolizing their life together with Cloche Jars. Inside the glass, was all sorts of memorabilia that Brittany and Kipp had collected over the years. Brittany had also collected mismatched china to serve her guests off of and they sat on the prettiest chargers! Such beautiful tables and décor!
Brittany and Kipp’s ceremony was very personal, as they have known their officiant for many years. After the ceremony, Brittany and Kipp were just so excited to be MARRIED and they weren’t afraid to show it. They played, teased and were just so silly the whole night. Every couple should be able to just let loose and enjoy their day the way they did! We are wishing them many more years of the same giddy silliness!
